Moroccan Wedding Blankets, also known as Handira, are handmade wedding garments made by the Brides family for her on her wedding night. Traditionally this sequinned neutral piece was worn by the bride to keep warm and as s symbol of good luck on her new marriage.

Each one of these blankets are handmade and can take hundreds of hours and weeks to complete. This blanket is an authentic piece of art and history. Imperfections are common as are signs of wear and minor stains. (This one has some minor rust spots from the sequins)

They make a stunning decorative throw at the end of a bed or accent piece for the back of a headboard or sofa.
