STORY: This rug originated from the Middle Atlas region in Morocco, and was handcrafted from the Beni Ourain tribe. The Beni Ourain tribe is located in the Middle Atlas Mountain region and the higher pile is reflective of the cold winter temperatures. You'll often find the reverse side of these rugs are very stunning too, as shown in the picture below.
I hand selected this rug on my first sourcing trip, and it is named "Brahim" after my dear Moroccan friend. Neutral and timeless, this rug will fit into practically any interior.
COLORS/MATERIALS: Ivory with Light Gray, Charcoal Gray, and Black. Hand knotted wool.
