Originally from the Middle Atlas region, Boujad's are known for their colorful nature and asymmetric patterns. This rug is dramatic and bold with tribal motifs.
It's funny because I named this rug Shaytana after Shaytan, the Arabic word for devil. You can almost make out a face in the center of the rug if you look closely. Although I do not believe this was the weavers original intent, the resemblance is striking. :)
