STORY: This rug originated from the Middle Atlas from the Boujaad tribe. I hand selected this rug on my most recent trip to Morocco. Appropriately named "Mulawan", which means "colorful" in Arabic, this rug has exceptional color and pattern. Boujaad rugs are known for their geometric shapes and intricate designs.
COLORS/MATERIALS: A primarily plum/reddish purple background with hints of seafoam green, orange, and cranberry. Hand knotted wool with natural dyes.
